From the broadcast the weekend of January 20/21, 2018:

Click for Ernie Haase & Signature SoundOur Featured Artists on this program were Ernie Haase & Signature Sound with songs from their new "Clear Skies" CD.    It's interesting that their song, "Give Me Jesus," which appears on this CD, has been out to radio for several months, achieving enough popularity to, as you heard on our "Gospel 2017 In Review" special, rank at #34 among favorites for 2017.  And the CD wasn't even out yet!  The only places the song could be heard were on the radio and in concert.  Ernie and the guys — Devin McGlamery, Dustin Doyle and Paul Harkey — have a winner in this new CD, which includes quite a variety of powerful songs that I think will endure for a long time.

The Ernie Haase & Signature Sound CD featured on this program, "Clear Skies," is available from our mailorder service, Springside.  Just call 1-800-38-MUSIC to order.  You can order easily from our webstore by using this link to go directly to this item

Pruitt FamilyOur Artist Spotlight guests on this program were the Pruitt Family.  They are Mark and Tina Pruitt and their daughters, Brooke and Alexis (Lexi).  Songs on this segment were from their current CD, "So Much Sweeter."  I expect we'll be hearing more of that one song I included, "God's Appointed Time."  Powerful.  As Tina is quoted on their website, "As long as the Lord opens the doors, we will walk through them.  Our goal in this is to spread the message of the grace and love of Jesus Christ anywhere and everywhere we go."  You can find more about them on their website. Their office phone number is 678-316-9616.

On the Headline Update "prayer chain" I mentioned the illness of songwriter Carolyn Adkins, writer of many songs including "Fear Not Tomorrow," as recorded by the Collingsworth Family.  Since this program was recorded, Carolyn has passed on to Glory. More about this will be heard on next weekend's broadcast.
