Our Featured Artists on this program were the father-son duo of Wilburn & Wilburn — Jonathan Wilburn and his son, Jordan. Songs were from, actually, two different recordings. The two songs on the program's first hour, including their current chart song, were from their current "Shoulders" CD. The two songs on their second hour, both of which were familiar to Wilburn & Wilburn fans, were from their new live-in-concert DVD (which comes with a companion CD of the same songs in the package). As Jonathan mentioned, he's especially excited about that because it's their first DVD as a group.
The Wilburn & Wilburn CD featured on this program, "Shoulders," as well as the new DVD, "Live From The Smokies," are available from our mailorder service, Springside. Just call 1-800-38-MUSIC to order. You can order easily from our webstore by clicking on either or both of those titles above to go directly to the items.
I mentioned this on the program, but I don't remember the last time our "Rapid Riser" for the month made such a huge jump up the chart in one month — in this case, the Hyssongs' "Let The Hallelujahs Ring," rising to #20 from #145! Good work, Hyssongs!
On the Headline Update, I mentioned that Matt Felts will be returning to the road, at least parttime, for a solo ministry. You can get more info about him on his website or on Facebook. Info about the Great Western Fan Festival in Visalia, CA, as mentioned on the Headline Update, can be found here. If you can read Japanese and can help Jeff Stice out (as mentioned on the Headline Update), here's the link where you can see his poster.
Congratulations to the Grand Prize winner in our recent 2017 Great Annual Giveaway. She's Ruby DeWitt of Villa Rica, Georgia.
