What happens when you bring together three top soloists and have them sing together as a trio? Cana's Voice happens. At least it did for Doug Anderson, Taranda Greene and Jody McBrayer. And music fans everywhere are loving what they're hearing. Their first CD as a group, "This Changes Everything," from which you heard some songs on this broadcast, debuted at #1 on the iTunes Christian/Gospel chart last year and remained there for several days. It was also #1 on Soundscan's Inspirational chart for two weeks. Although, as you heard them say on the air, they didn't plan to do more than about 30 dates a year, the demand has far outpaced that. Last month (Jan. 22) they did a special videotaping in Houston, their first live concert video. (Mark Lowry was their special guest.)

This was our annual just-before-Valentine's Day Love Theme edition. All (non-Featured Artist) songs and artist comments were about love — God's love for us (primarily), our love for Him (very important) and our Christian love for one another. As I mentioned on the program, all Gospel songs are, in effect, love songs — because the Gospel is the greatest love story of all.
