From the broadcast the weekend of Jan. 30th & 31st, 2010:

Click for HisSong Our Featured Artists on this program were the trio HisSong, which includes Dennis Humphries singing lead, Adam Elrod singing Tenor and Adam Cannon singing baritone. Songs were from their new CD called "Journey Through The Sky," including their powerful current chart song, "I Believe In Prayer." I was particularly impressed by the photo on their CD cover of these three guys standing in front of a vintage airplane with their vintage luggage there behind them on the tarmac. Very nice. Of course, the music's outstanding, too. "Can You Burn" is an especially challenging song. I think we'll hear several more hit singles from this CD by HisSong.

This was our official Singing News Top 20 Countdown edition, based on the magazine's radio airplay chart in their February issue.

Speaking of the Singing News, moving their Fan Awards program away from the National Quartet Convention (as explained on this program's Headline Update) will take some getting used to. I've been going to the NQC for 30 years and the Fan Awards have always been a highlight. However, I totally agree with their desire to bring more attention to the Southern Gospel Music Hall of Fame and Museum at Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, TN, which is what this move is intended to do. So....we'll see.
