| From the broadcast
the weekend of May 31st & June 1st, 2008: |
Our Featured Artists on this broadcast were Crabb Revival, featuring
siblings Adam Crabb and Terah Penhollow, both of whom were
part of the tremendously popular Crabb Family until they disbanded,
as such, almost two years ago. Third part vocals are delivered by guitarist
Zach Smith. Drummer Jedidah Richardson and instrumentalist
Micah Schweinsberg fill out the group's sound. Songs included on this
broadcast come from their new "Runaway Train" CD, which is scheduled
for a June 17th release. "You Amaze Me," their current top 20 song
(#20 for June), has become extremely popular. Their sound is much like the
Crabb Family sound, especially in their earlier years. You heard Adam on
the program describe it as "kinda country" and "swampy" (I don't know what
that means) with some praise and worship thrown in for good measure.
Crabb Revival's CD featured on this program, "Runaway
Train," is scheduled for release June 17th. It can be pre-ordered now
from our mailorder service, Springside, to take advantage of our weekly discount.
Just call 1-800-38-MUSIC to order. You can order easily from our webstore

This was our official Singing News Top 20 Countdown Edition for
June, reflecting the chart as published in the magazine's June issue.
Note that to meet publication deadlines, the magazine must compile its
information well in advance, which is how we are able normally to include
it on the last program of the month prior to the publication date.
